Hello,

My name is Karen Tucker and I am a Gold Star mom. My son, Richard joined the Navy in 1995 and served almost 20 years in the CB's. During his active time in the service he was deployed to Iraq twice and Afghanistan twice. He built schools, airstrips, water wells, and other structures. He was within a day of returning when he died.

To honor his memory my family founded the Richard Tucker Memorial Fund, Inc. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that helps first responders & veterans. We can send care boxes to troops abroad. We help financially support our local fire fighters and police organizations. We donate support items such as homemade blankets, scarves, hats, and cookies to patients in the VA Hospitals and their families staying in the Fisher House in Boston, MA.

Our main source of raising funds is our Christmas walkthrough at 226 Turnpike Street in South Easton. The walkthrough is open, weather permitting, from December 1st to Christmas Eve each year. This year our walkthrough is just over a 1/4 of a mile of Christmas decorations, hundreds of thousands of lights, dozens of trees and over 200 blowups.

This is all possible because of local businesses and families support our walkthrough. We are asking you to support us with a $250 corporation donation or a $100 family donation. In exchange, your business, organization, or family will be assigned as a sponsor of a specific section of the walkthrough where we will prominently display your company name, logo or family name.

I hop you will join our efforts to support those individuals who have so faithfully supported us. Please call me with any questions you may have. Make your checks payable to to the Richard Tucker Memorial Fund, Inc. We sincerely thank you on behalf of all we help.
